During summer of 2008, a few radio control model airplane enthusiasts got together on Salt Spring Island and started flying on a regular basis. This group is now called the Salt Spring Island Radio Control Flyers.

Our goal is to share our experiences and promote radio control flying and to help foster growth in the hobby. Interests range all the way from light-weight "park flyers" to high performance aerobatic scale models plus helicopters.
